Zoran Aleksić, Professor of Periodontics and Oral Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Belgrade, Master and Doctor of dental science, was born in 1970. in Belgrade. Faculty of Dentistry, University of Belgrade, graduated in 1994. with an average grade 9.15. Compulsory apprenticeship was conducted by the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Belgrade. The assistant to the Periodontics and Oral Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade, was admitted in May 1995. Master's thesis entitled "Assessing the Effectiveness of immobilization in the treatment of periodontitis teeth" defended in 2000. Specialist in the field of Periodontics and Oral Medicine passed in 2000. Ph.D. thesis entitled "Application of growth factors in the regenerative therapy of periodontal disease", defended in 2006. Sub-specialization in clinical implantology cases audited by the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology, University of Los Angeles, California, 2006. Dr Zoran Aleksic has published over 100 papers in journals and at scientific conferences at home and abroad. Member of the Serbian Medical Society, the American Academy of Periodontology, American Academy of Osseointegration, the European Federation of Periodontology, European Academy of Osseointegration, and the Association of Periodontology Serbia. Certified Instructor for the Nobel Biocare^®, Biohorizons^® and AstraTech^® implant systems.
